Within 2-3 years, rosin became the fastest-growing concentrate category, valued for its solventless purity, full terpene preservation, and accessibility (anyone can make rosin at home with under $200 in equipment). The principle: cannabis trichomes are heat-sensitive resin glands that liquefy at 180-220°F (82-104°C) and can be squeezed out of plant material under sufficient pressure.
