1. Confirm Eligibility
You must be a Florida resident and have a qualifying medical condition, such as:

2. See a Certified Physician

3. Apply for the ID Card

- After the doctor’s approval, apply for your Medical Marijuana Use Registry Identification Card:
- Online via the OMMU Registry Portal
- Upload a passport-style photo
- Provide proof of Florida residency
- Pay the $75 application fee
4. Wait for Approval
- Online applications are usually processed within 5–10 business days.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a physical medical marijuana card by mail.
5. Purchase Medical Marijuana

- Use your card at any licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center (MMTC) in Florida.
6. Maintain Eligibility
- Re-certification with your doctor is required every 210 days.
- Card renewal is annual and costs $75.
